A sentencing hearing was held in federal court, resulting in a 50-year prison term for one of the defendants. This individual was the ninth person convicted in connection with a nonfatal shooting incident outside an ICE facility in North Texas.

The shooting had occurred prior to the convictions in March. Details of the incident and the convictions are available from the Denton Record-Chronicle.

In addition to the 50-year sentence, six other defendants who pleaded guilty received prison terms ranging from 2 to 15 years. Further information on the case and the sentencing can be found in the Denton Record-Chronicle.
